Vineyard Community Center offers a variety of services and programs, and we regularly add new ones!
- Vineyard Early Childhood Center serves working families with high quality daycare for children ages six weeks through pre-Kindergarten. VECC serves about 110 kids Monday through Friday.
- After-School and Summer Programs offer academic support, cultural enrichment, recreation, and character development for Kindergarten through 5th graders.
- Middle School and High School LAUNCH-Life-Readiness offers academic support, college and job prep, and life skills.
- Sports and Exercise Programs include adult and youth sports and fitness programs, including ZUMBA, TRX, soccer, basketball, football and many others.
- Vineyard Free Health Clinics offer free medical, dental, optometry, and chiropractic care at two locations for those living at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.
- The Vineyard Free Legal Clinic provides legal assistance for those who cannot afford a lawyer. (Low income individuals at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.)
- Immigration Counseling Services provides immigration legal assistance to low-income families. Services include Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Family Petitions, Green Card Applications, and Citizenship application.
Other programs include Daytime and evening GED prep classes, English as a Second Language (ESL), Ohio Benefit Bank counseling, citizenship classes, marriage and parenting programs, financial counseling, career development services, dance, art, and music classes, and much more.
Our Vineyard Professional Counseling Center also has available Graduate Candidate Interns for your counseling needs. We have male and female
interns who have experience in seeing children, teens, adults and married couples at a cost of $20 per session. Call 614.259.5409 for more

Income Tax Preparation
By appointment only.
Free Federal and State Income tax preparation for individuals (no businesses or self-employed) by appointment only, beginning in February through
the end of March. Please bring 2015 tax returns and appropriate 2016 paperwork (w-2's, 1099's, receipts). For an appointment, contact Donna,
email@example.com. There is no charge for paper copies of your returns for you to mail.
Helping Hands is a ministry supported by men who desire to serve families in our community who need hep with minor repairs and upkeep
around their homes. These families are usually made up of single-parent homes, the elderly or those who cannot afford to pay for the
repairs on their own. Most jobs are completed on Saturday mornings between 9am-12pm. If you are in need of some help around your home,
please contact us for an assessment at 614.259.5326 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Typically provided services are:
- Cleaning gutters
- Painting a wall or two
- Storm window installation/removal
- Gate/fencing repair
- Screen window/door repair
- Furnace filter replacement
- Storm door replacement
- Minor toilet repair
For liability purposes, no roofing, plumbing or electrical services provided.
Red Cross Training
The Vineyard Community Center and the American Red Cross are working together to provide the surrounding community the opportunity
to take classes closer to home.
The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a
variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies
and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric
(infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult
and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years. This course consists of an online learning and a classroom skills session Online
learning must be completed prior to attending the classroom skills session.
Class fees vary, depending upon the class (please contact the Red Cross to find out costs for classes.) Classes are scheduled through
the American Red Cross, but are held at Vineyard Community Center. Adult/Pediatric FA/CPR/AED (Blended Learning) classes will be offered:

Northside Food Pantry
Located at 4664 Cleveland Ave, this food pantry offers food assistance to members/attenders of Vineyard Columbus and/or residents
of 43224, 43229 and 43231 zip code areas. This is a walk-in, once-a-month food pantry. Eligible residents must show proof
of address and picture ID for all adults and any form of ID for all dependents during initial registration; hence after, one
adult ID must be presented on subsequent visits for name verification. If you do not
live within the serving area, but are a
member/attender of Vineyard Columbus, please call 614.259.5441 to see if you are eligible for a food pantry pass. Also, we
have a MidOhio free market produce pick-up every 3rd Saturday morning at our 181 East 5th Ave pantry April through October, 9-11am.
The pantry is open every Saturday and we serve a free pancake and waffle breakfast from 8:30-11:30 am. Food pick-up is from 9:30-11:30 am. Northside Food Pantry hosts a Community Dinner the first Wednesday of every month a 6pm.
Ohio Benefit Bank: (see description below) Appointments can be made for Saturday mornings at both Food Pantries between 8 and 11 am by calling 614.259.5441.
The Ohio Benefit Bank
File your federal and state taxes for free through Ohio Benefit Bank. If your household has an annual income of less than $95,000 for married filing jointly, $65,000 for all other tax filers, OBB trained counselors can assist you with free electronic filing. Several tax credits such as Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit and more are available to help maximize refund.
New for 2017- We will offer Ohio Benefit Bank Tax Services at Vineyard Community Center during Open Clinic, on a first-come, first-served basis on Saturday mornings from 9:30am-1pm beginning January 28 through April 22, 2017.
